Torrey Pines South Baby Quilt

Approximately 36” x 51”, perfect size for a baby or toddler, or to adorn the wall of your favorite room.
The Torrey Pines South baby quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in sandy cliffside shades for a modern organic monochrome, based on a pattern by Penelope Handmade called Ebb & Flow.
The neutral palette goes from cool black through a spectrum of grays and beiges to bright white. You’ll find cute feminine faces, giant tulips, a marshy landscape, and even macrame owls.
This quilt has a sibling! It was made at the same time and with most of the same fabrics as the Torrey Pines North. Perfect for a set of twins, or just two people with similarly excellent taste.
Backed with an adorable word search fabric, framed in a pewter gray dotted print, Torrey Pines South is quilted with bamboo blend batting with horizontal straight lines.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
